EASTGATE ‘ON TOUR’ 2023 – The Launch

Here we go – The official launch of the Eastgate Cycles Club 2023 Tour!

Last year’s tour once again got rave revues and we believe we’ve secured another outstanding venue that will make the 2023 tour another winner!

Accommodation will be at the Mendip Basecamp. An award-winning, off-grid family adventure camp in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Mendip. Private, en-suite bunk rooms and catering for the weekend are covered in the price too so book now to secure your place!

The area offers super riding in and around the Mendips where once again we will provide routes to suit all levels.

Last year was another sell out, so secure your place now – head over to the ‘STORE’ in Team App, scroll down and click on ‘2023 Tour Deposit’ and pay your £50 deposit. Payment can be made via card or Apple Pay. The club needs to pay its deposit in the next couple of weeks so your speedy response and payment of deposits will be much appreciated.

We anticipate final costs will be around £120 per person which includes two night’s accommodation, breakfast and evening meals, support drivers and a bucketload of goodies and snacks as per previous years. All rooms have ensuite facilities! Good lounge & restaurant area plus outside seating with fire pit and parachute canopy. Very secure bike storage. Had a chat with catering manager who was very helpful and keen to satisfy our needs. There will be menu choices in due course and are open to being flexible if we have specific requirements. Full English breakfast provided (now you are definitely interested). The main bar in the Alpine Lounge closes at 7pm in September but we can bring our own beer – plenty of fridge space in Mendip Lodge.
