2 groups set out on the shorter route in very hot conditions. The coffee stop was changed to Clive’s as Revels near Defford was closed. The faster group decided Clive’s was too busy and went to the Marina for a change, the second group got served very quickly but sat in the baking heat. A headwind back made it hard going and a water refill stop was required by some in group 2. Although struggling with the heat after refreshing at the farmers( some using the hose pipe to cool their heads) a few managed to complete a Grand Fondo. I was really struggling so thanks to everyone in my group for helping me back.

Next Sunday will be cake fest, it’s looking a bit cooler 🤞🚴🏼‍♀️ I heard rumours of a scenic bridge loop by some of yesterdays riders.
