Right, it's been a while since I've done one of these! Usually, the proper wordsmiths on the committee handle the evening's ride round-up, but they've all gone AWOL tonight (no idea what their excuses were, probably really good ones). So, you're stuck with me!
We rode. It was warm. Simple as that, my routes were amazing!
The Grub Situation
No pizza tonight, and no post-ride wake/meeting buffet either. Bit of a shame, but honestly, there were no other issues to report on the cycling front.
However, I did spot some scampi, chips, and peas that looked absolutely cracking, even though I didn't indulge myself. They really do look after us at the club.

Now, for the main event: Kamila delivered the goods once again with another fantastic cake! This time it was a coconut chocolatey delight that was seriously tasty. And a special shout-out has to go to Matt Wellings for his unparalleled cake-cutting skills. He portioned it with such precision, it was truly a sight to behold. Some might even suggest he was aiming for smaller squares to ensure there was plenty left over – and if so, mission accomplished! He even licked the tray clean. Literally.
